Under a brilliant blue sky, Furnace Woods students paid homage to the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces during a special Memorial Day ceremony in the school’s courtyard.
Hendrick Hudson High School is proud to be recognized as a Project Lead the Way Distinguished School – the only high school in New York State to receive the honor for six consecutive years.

The Blue Mountain Middle School 7th and 8th grade bands have been busy practicing, performing, and racking up high scores at music festivals this spring.
Hendrick Hudson High School’s National Art Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony and Art Show at the high school library on Friday, May 19.
Congratulations to the six Hendrick Hudson High School students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society on May 17 at Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES. The students, from across many different Career and Technical Education programs, represent the embodiment of the values the NTHS espouses.
Hendrick Hudson High School senior Lena Johnsen has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Fordham University next year. Lena was a two-time All Section soccer player, earning those accolades as a sophomore and junior, and she received All-League honors during her sophomore year.
The beloved tale “Alice in Wonderland” is the inspiration for Hendrick Hudson High School senior Amelia Mino’s clothing designs, which will be on display during the annual fashion show at the Career and Technical Education Center at Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES.
The Board of Education will accept the results of the Budget Vote and Board Election on Wednesday, May 18, 2023. There will be no opportunity for audience participation.
