Welcome to Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Principles of Engineering (PoE) course at HenHud High School!
Engineering is the application of math, science, and technology, with creativity and economics to solve problems and improve our society. Princples of Engineering is a foundation course for the PLTW Engineering Pathway. This survey course provides an overview of different Engineering fields and exposes students to some of the major concepts they will encounter in a postsecondary engineering course of study. Through problems that engage and challenge, students explore a broad range of engineering topics including mechanisms, strengths of materials and structures, automation, and kinematics.
Please refer to the PoE Course Information page for the course outline and more information about this course.
