The Student Organization trip to Washington D.C. is planned for June 1,2,and 3. The itinerary for this trip includes many exciting and historic places in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area. We are excited about our day in Baltimore with lunch, visiting the aquarium, Ft. McHenry & ending the day at Camden Park for the Orioles vs. Boston. After the game we make our way to Washington for the next 2 days which are filled with exciting historical sites.
All members of the Student Organization who have received positive teacher evaluations, and have met the attendance requirements for meetings and community service may go on this trip. Mr. Fisher has been working with Coach Tour Company to finalizing the itinerary which is included. The cost of the trip will be $475. Two payments of 100.00 each has been paid the remaining two payments will be due in the next few months. A lot of hard work has gone into keeping the cost reasonable, and at the same time, ensuring that the three days will be filled with fun and interesting events. Please keep in mind that in addition to the cost of the trip, there will be additional expenses for items students will need to purchase on their own. Since the trip cost is based on 40 students we will be charged for everyone regardless of whether a child comes or does not come. We will not be given a refund if students decide not to go at this time.
To ensure an exact count of students we ask each student to give a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit in January. All checks should be made payable to: Blue Mountain Middle School Activity Fund. If you have any questions about the trip/cost, please contact Mr.Vetrano at email@example.com
We are looking forward to this year’s Student Organization trip. We hope to open up to our students some new experiences and familiarize them more with the political and historical background of the United States.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
