Positive reinforcement plans are a great way to motivate students. There are several important components to a reinforcement plan:
1. The target behavior: clearly defining the behavior you want to increase/decrease
2. The reinforcers: choose highly preferred, immediately deliverable reinforcers
3. Delivery: deliver the reinforcer immediately after the desired behavior (or as close to it as possible)
4. Evaluation: monitor student progress by collecting data throughout the process
