I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself.  I am Lindsay Sutton-D'Ascoli a School Social worker and Licensed Clinical Social worker who has worked in the field for the past 10 years in school based clinics, outpatient mental health agencies, psychiatric hospitals and private practice with children, teens and families.  I specialize in using therapeutic modalities such as CBT(Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT(Dialectial Behavior Therapy) to help teens with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, family stress, relationship and substance issues that may impact your child's success and ability to function at school

I work part time at the High School (Monday, Thursdays and Fridays) as part of the support team providing the following Social Work Services alongside fellow Social Workers, John Duff and Megan Brenner, guidance counselors, student assistance counselor Mrs. Alvarado and Psychologist Dr. Lupiani.  

• Individual counseling
• Group counseling
• Crisis intervention
• Supporting the socioemotional health/climate of the School
• Increasing positive behavioral supports/plans
• Assisting and providing consultation to teachers and administration in regards to students
• participating and planning IEP/504/IST meetings
• providing community resource help and linkage to parents and students

My main concern is meeting your child's emotional health needs while helping them be as successful and connnected at school as is possible. I look forward to fulfilling that mission through building relationships with you and your children.
