This is the home page for my Technology Education Class for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  You can find information about curriculum as well as class projects here.

The class follows the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum which is a renowned engineering curriculum that provides a comprehensive approach to STEM(science, technology, engineering and math) education.  Project Lead the Way - Gateway provides an engineering curriculum that challenges and inspires students to solve problems. 

Students get rigorous and relevant experiences through activity-, project-, and problem-based learning. They use industry-leading technology to solve problems while gaining skills in communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and creativity.

Students can continue with Project Lead the Way courses when they get to the high school.  Courses include Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Aerospace, and Bio-medical science courses.
