Hendrick Hudson School District Honored for Communications
The Hendrick Hudson School District won three Publications and Digital Media awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) in its annual school communications competition.
The district won an Award of Merit in the special purpose publication category for “Soundings: Graduation Edition” an Honorable Mention for Lanyard, the electronic newsletter that goes to parents and staff, and an Honorable Mention for the 2020 Budget Newsletter.
NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding education publications, e-newsletters, digital media programs, social media, websites and more. The competition is open to public and private schools nationwide.
“Communicating effectively with our community is a top priority for Hendrick Hudson Schools, so we are pleased to have received this recognition,” said Superintendent Joseph Hochreiter. “Of course, it is easy to create great newsletters when you have students and staff who are as talented as those in Hen Hud. We are also fortunate to have an outstanding communications specialist in Karen Hoffman.”
