Hen Hud Technology Coaches Train Local Library Staff in Google Tools

The Hendrick Hudson School District continues to nurture its partnership with the Hendrick Hudson Free Library. This week, two of the district’s technology coaches, high school teacher Kyle Cina and school psychologist Heather Wynne, provided a Google training session to library staff.

“Having a better understanding of Google’s suite of tools will help our staff, particularly our reference staff, assist students when they come to the library to do their work,” said Library Director Jill Davis

Some of the topics covered included how to use Google Docs, Drive, Calendar and Forms.

“This training was just one example of how the library and the school district's continued partnership is a success,” said Davis. “Understanding how the products that district students use in the educational setting will help us to provide the best services possible to district residents.”
