High School Seniors to Exhibit Work at Katonah Museum of Art, February 9 - March 1
The Katonah Museum of Art’s “Young Artists” show is an annual exhibition of artwork created by high school seniors. The show provides young, aspiring artists the unique and valuable opportunity to work behind-the-scenes to produce a museum exhibition. AP Art students Emma Gormley, Dana Ho, Dylan Montroy, Bianca Scott, Ruth Tenesaca, and Andrew Lee will have artwork displayed in this year’s exhibition.
Over the course of many months, the students take on the roles of graphic designer, curator, exhibition designer, art installer and artist as they collaborate with KMA professionals to produce their own exhibition.
The “Young Artists” opening reception will take place on February 9, from 3 to 5:00 pm, and all are welcome. The exhibit will run from February 9 to March 1, 2020.
