State Education Department Directs Districts to Survey Digital Equity
Today’s educational environment relies heavily upon digital resources, and the NY State Education Department is interested in collecting data on access to these resources among families across the state. The SED has therefore directed school districts to ask parents or guardians to complete a Digital Equity Survey regarding student access to devices and internet service at home.
Collecting accurate data regarding digital resource access will greatly help educators to better serve their students. To assist us in this process, please click here to complete a survey for each student in the family in grades K-12. The survey is brief and should only take a few minutes to complete. Please send your survey in by November 1, 2021.
